In Bear Necessities, bear shifter Alex Bunsun—who also goes by ‘Bunny’ heads to Halle, PA to help out a cousin who may be in trouble. When he gets there he’s literally drawn to the local tattoo shop and finds his mate Tabitha Garwood— a wolf shifter who goes by the name Tabby. (Yes, Tabby and Bunny) In the shifter world author Dana M. Bell has created, you know instantly when you find the “one” and the book follows the relationship between the two shifters and the problems they both faced in their past, and present in order to be together.
I read this book in a day, it’s one of those “don’t really want to put you down” type books where you can’t wait to see what’s next. The characters where fun, the relationship between the main and minor characters were endearing and I am really interested in continuing the series.
I think the only problem I had was the tense in which the book was written. Sometimes the switching between characters wasn’t so clean so I was confused. Besides the ocassional confusion I loved the book, the next one seems to be about Tabby’s friend Cyn which should be good—but I wouldn’t mind reading about these two again.
Have you read this book? What did you think?
