I can’t believe this is the last book in the series.
In Reckoning Dru is still running from— and fighting the vampires that want her dead, with Graves and Ash along for the ride. Her attempt at an escape doesn’t last long and she has a final showdown with Christophe’s father Sergei. She also makes a surprising alliance with the Maharaj, who claim she may be one of them. (Descendants of human and magic beings mixed I think)
As usual Dru’s feelings for Christophe and Graves changes in relation to whomever she’s with at the time. When she’s with Graves she wants him, when she’s with Christophe she wants him. I wonder if there will ever be a book written without the standard love triangle, I’d love to read about a solid couple for once.
It would have been nice if there were more of a resolution. By the end of the book Graves leaves, Dru doesn’t choose between her two boys and the Maharaj’s connection to Dru is still a mystery. My fingers are crossed that Lilli St. Crow will write another book in the series.
