This book was so good.
I wouldn’t say it started off slow—but I guess I was just interested in reading more about Anna and Charles relationship instead of the FBI case the book was centred around. After reading more I found that I was just being impatient because as the book went on there was a lot of focus on their relationship.
The last few chapters were so intense, I couldn’t put the book down. I was worried that Patricia Briggs was going to put Anna through another assault, and I am happy she didn’t because seriously how much can one person is put through. The ending was a surprise and it leaves so many possibilities for what can happen next—it’s safe to say there is going to be a fight between the fae and the humans and who knows what the werewolves will decide.
